A charming little spot on the main drag of Santa Cruz right across from the amusement park. It's nothing fancy but it's a unique surf Shack type establishment serving up Middle Eastern favourites. The owner is super friendly and often chats with the customers. The food is tasty and the location is convrnient, would go again.

The owners are awesome, kind people. The food is also pretty good and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back!

Very helpful and warm owners. This is a great place to get halal meat (burgers). The vibe is perfect for Santa Cruz and the whole experience is very light and relaxed and fun.

Ate here recently for the first time. I fell in love the moment we entered. It was orderly, clean and inviting. Totally different than expected having walked past a few other eateries and this establishment's outside eating area which were all standard fare for beach cafes. And the owner was so personable and treated us as valued customers. Very rare, I think. It was a joy to be there. And THEN the food came. The falafel was the best I have ever eaten. It was not over cooked as it often is. The crust was crisp and the inside was not as dense as I am used to seeing so it was light and moist. I was in heaven. The owner told me it was his wife's recipe. I was so enthralled I can't remember what my daughter had but I know it came with french fries that were good. And she ate every bite of whatever else she had. As this was our lunch we ordered take out for dinner. The owner fixed us up with delicious, soft pita, hummus and, of course, more falafel. We snacked all evening at our hotel. The next time we are at the Boardwalk we will make a point of returning for more good cheer and great food. I even ordered the CD they were playing - Rod Stewart's American Playbook - love it.
